When the economy is tight everybody feels the squeeze. And when people are feeling like their budgets are tight the popularity of the DIY project becomes even more extreme. When it comes to weddings…the most accessible DIY projects are for wedding receptions. What you have to be careful of is that the project turns out fabulous; it’s not worth it if it doesn’t!
This list of quick and easy DIY ideas can make a difference to the look and the cost of wedding receptions:
1. Classy centerpieces can be had without a high price tag or intensive experience. There are many options that work, but we’re going to feature one that can be completed by almost any bride, mother of the bride or bridesmaid without any previous experience or crafty genius!
The centerpiece starts with a simple bowl and a Styrofoam ball. Place the ball in the bowl. Insert nice, silk flowers of your choice throughout the Styrofoam ball. Insert small pieces of greenery throughout the arrangement randomly to finish it off. A different option that works out nicely is accomplished by collecting glass vases (varying sizes) and filling them with candy (different types that suit the colors of the wedding receptions). Or for a more personal touch you can aim for something unique to the bride and groom at hand. For instance if the bride and groom are antique collectors you could use antique vases for centerpieces (with fresh flowers).

Few marriage ceremony arrangements are as pleasant as the ones providing for an outdoor wedding ceremony, or possibly for marriage that is conducted entirely outside. But before tying the knot this way, there are definite pros and cons to consider.
As for the arguments that may mean that you should better not get married outdoors, start considering that outdoor marriage can be a fickle thing, which many more potentially unexpected events taking place than with a tradition al wedding. If you or your spouse are not exactly keen on the unexpected, it would be better to plan an indoors wedding.
Also, don’t organize an outdoor marriage ceremony if you will be horribly disappointed if the weather turns bad, as this is an uncommon but distinct possibility, even in summer. This point has to be taken into account especially if it is in winter that you will marry.
You will find that a good wedding organizer will help a lot, but outdoor marriage will still place extra stress and responsibilities on you. If you would prefer to avoid having to have more things to think about in an already complicated day, go for an easier option.

If you are thinking about getting married outside, you are having a great idea as there are few things that are as romantic and pleasant, whether the chosen venue is the courtyard near your local place of worship or a secluded spot in a natural park.
Notwithstanding, there are lots of pitfalls that you need to take into account if you want to get married outdoors. Many things can happen differently to your plan, so toy need to be as prepared as possible.
1) You should put the utmost care into ensuring that your guests will be comfortable before, during and after the ceremony. Of course, this applies especially to older guests, but you should also think about children, who could become unruly if bored. Don’t forget to take the weather and season into account, and to provide protection against the elements, such as a biting winter wind, or a hot summer sun.
2) Make sure that there are enough liquids for people to drink, especially water, and hot drinks such as tea or punch if it’s winter. If you want to make some alcoholic drinks available outside before or after the ceremony, a selection of cocktails is a good alternative to the usual champagne.

What is the role of a wedding planner?
A special day coordinator is the one person responsible for planning, budging, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring every aspect of the wedding and associated events. It is quite common for a professional special day planner to manage bridal showers, pre-event parties, rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and even assisting with honeymoon plans.
Today it is a good idea to hire a professional special day advisor. It is not required, but it can certainly save you time, money, and aggravation. You will have to pay for a good quality professional wedding advisor, but they can almost single handedly insure your success.
Many couples will attempt to manage these details themselves, but the larger the events become, the more critical it becomes to have a capable person manage these details for the bride and groom. Sometimes, you have a Maid of Honor, friend, or relative who especially adept at organizing things. Frequently, couples will divide up the responsibilities and spread the duties. Still, someone must coordinate all of these details.

Sometime weddings seem like a gift giving extravaganza. You have gifts for the engagement party. More gifts for the bride at the bridal shower. Then there are the gifts for the couple at the reception. Then there are gifts to all the guests at the end of the reception. It is an outpouring of generosity. Perhaps the most important gifts are from the bride to her bridesmaids and the maid of honor. Not only is it one of the most important but it also requires some of the most delicate etiquette. But what makes the bridesmaid gifts and the maid of honor gifts so important?
