Brides have always wanted to make sure that their wedding will be the type that will simply sweep everyone off. It takes a lot of preparation and sometimes, a few details are regarded bigger than the other. However you wanted to plan and work for your wedding, you have to remember that things do not end at the ceremony; there is still the reception to think about!
Should you go for a pool, beach, garden, hotel or house for the wedding reception? Well, there are different choices but then the more practical type that everyone loves these days is the use of wedding marquees.
Oh tents are in these days and they are actually nice options. One thing that is an advantage of a marquee is that it adds a more intimate feel to the reception. When it is jam packed, just imagine how nice it will feel. You need that for the wedding, you need the kind of intimacy. They say that weddings will never be as romantic if people have all the big spaces between them. The couple should be binded from that moment on, and some big space is not as appealing, they even say it is bad luck.

Careful choices are imperative when investing in a wedding ring. It is not an inexpensive purchase and is meant to be worn for the remainder of your life…
Set A Budget – Be realistic when setting a budget. A standard of 3% f the full wedding budget should be set aside for the purchase of wedding rings. The budgeted amount should be established in advance of any trip to view merchandise in a jewelry store. After a budget figure is determined, your options, once the actual shopping begins, will be easier and more focused. A base price for a gold band wedding ring is approximately $150 but other determining factors will be things such as diamonds, or other jewels, custom adornments or choice of another metal.
Do Some Research – Most wedding rings are made from white gold, yellow gold or platinum, which makes them more expensive. Some people have skin reactions when wearing precious metals and so other materials such as titanium can be substituted. It is important to try on a number of different rings that are made from a variety of metals to see how each color or tone suites the color of your skin. There are many attractive designs to be found in every material so look carefully and you will find the perfect ring.

How exciting to walk down the aisle on the big day and be given a beautiful wedding band after repeating words of commitment. It is a new adventure, a new world that is awaiting, eagerly, just beyond the door. Having a beautiful ring will be a reminder, every day, of this memorable occasion. At the reception the happy bride and groom are able to display their wedding bands, with pride, to show they have really joined together to start a family.
Prior to the wedding the bridge and groom choose their wedding bands. Usually they know just about what they are looking for but are usually stunned by the variety from which to choose. They do know they want rings that they will be proud to wear the rest of their lives and they want them to be attractive. Whether they are custom made, bright with diamonds or just plain gold or silver is a personal preference.
One factor that most young couples must consider is the cost of the rings. They no doubt have a budget and want to get the best they can for their money. Often a jeweler will reduce the price of a special set for the engaged couple or have some beautiful ones at a special price. It is always possible to ask if there is an ‘engaged couple special’.

The word “Opal” originated from the Latin word opalus, which is closely influenced by “opallios”, a Greek word. The opal gem begins to form when mineraloid gel, is absorbed in the cleft of limonite, sandstone, basalt, and marl rocks, and then finally became distinguishable when it freezes at the low temperature. Mineraloid gel is a watery substance which could be taken into account for the three to ten percent, and as much as twenty percent water content in Opal.
Australia has been gifted with majority of opals. During the infancy of our planet water enriched with silica flooded in the landmasses of this continent which was absorbed by the sedimentary rocks to form the opals. Vintage opal rings embedding the gem are found in variety of colors including plain white, black, yellow, orange, olive, green, blue, and rose.
Like a butterfly the opal rings has it own distinct colors. Not unlike the sky with a rainbow it has a background color and different mixes of foreground colors that transversely runs in front. Colors such red, white or blue highlights the sturdy black background of the black opal. Exposed in the light these rings would produce a bright and dazzling effect.

Canada has a thriving and vibrant jewellery design industry. There is nowhere better to explore this than the several Canadian jewellery design shows which are held throughout the year. These are trade and retail events and are as buzzing and vibrant as those who participate.
This is the best way to take in the whole Canadian design scene in one go. Many of the shows are specialist or regional and so have exhibitors from a certain field or area. But to take in much of the community at once, a visit to one of the bigger shows would be necessary. JCK Toronto is a large show held in the summer in Toronto. It hosts shows from all over Canada and North America.
If you visit these shows you will be at an ideal place for both exhibitors and buyers and sellers alike. If you need to buy jewellery supplies for your company then this show can provide you with sources for all your needs. You can either buy directly from the exhibitors here, or you can find out where they trade and go to them. Here you will source mounts, gems, metals, findings, everything you need. Also, if you are a seller, you will find buyers from all over the country, as well as international buyers and your market could open right up.

What are good engagement rings for luxury weddings? Many men do not know, because it is not something they often think about. Therefore when a proposal is looming, how can a good ring be decided on? Will your fiancee like it, is it stylish, and what are the different cuts of stone? It can all be very confusing.
The first step is to understand her tastes. She will have to wear this ring for years, so it should be something she loves to look at. If you want this to be a surprise, carefully try to ask her about stone cuts. Look at her jewelry to see if she prefers gold or silver. If you cannot do either of these, go with something silver in color (including white gold or platinum). These are more fashionable because they match more easily and have more shine.
As for the stone, unless she expressly dislikes diamonds, you should always go with a luxury diamond. It is the classic symbol of engagement. Whenever anyone sees the ring, they will know you are engaged. A colored stone could be misinterpreted, and also may clash with her clothes. Diamonds have a great reputation for being expensive, rare, and very sophisticated. No matter how much you spend on a diamond, it will always be considered more expensive than a colored stone of the same size.

The best part about the wedding day is selecting the rings. Women love this part as jewelry is a girls best friend. Yet, you want to make sure that you get the right thing for the right price and that you get the right service. So, for those of you wondering how do I select my wedding jeweller, we have the answers for you of things to keep in mind and check out before hand.
One of the first things you do is look for the jewelers that are closest to you. You want to make sure you aren’t driving all over Canada for this. There should be some pretty decent ones in your area. Just open your phone book and jot a few down to look up and do more research on.
The next thing is to see if there are any reviews of them. If you don’t have any reviews about the jewelleries that you have picked out, then ask around. Sometimes wedding blogs will have where people can post things. Other times, you can ask people who have been married about if they have heard anything. This will give you an idea about how reputable they are.

If there is any engagement ring in the world which is in great demand it is the silver engagement ring. The simple reason why it is so popular is that silver is commonly accessible.
You may be from anywhere with any kind of taste, silver rings and jewelry accessories are something which is liked by everybody. Silver engagement ring is something about which you can be positive that your spouse would like it no matter what.
The spending capacity of a person is quite significant even when you are going in for a wedding engagement. Sometimes the price of an engagement ring would prevent the couple from presenting the best gift to each other.
You might think of it as a challenge to find a wonderful gift which is extraordinary and valuable to give to your future life partner. But your budget might not permit you to buy an expensive ring which you would like.
Again, silver engagement rings stand unparalleled in this respect. While you will be able to find high end silver engagement rings as well, they are generally cheaper than most other valuable metals while giving you a great bedazzling look.

Bridal ring sets are engagement rings and wedding rings that have been designed to be worn together. These are ideal for those who want their engagement ring and wedding band to look perfect together.
The woman’s cherished piece of jewelry is her engagement ring. But her matching wedding band is her crowning joy of a lifetime. Her wedding ring is her lifelong mate’s certainty of love. However, there is difficulty finding the wedding band that beautifully matches the engagement ring on the other finger. This is the reason why jewelers created the perfect solution – the bridal ring sets – the engagement ring and the wedding band all together.
Bridal ring sets are designed to fit snugly together to form one ring. A common example of a bridal ring set is a wedding ring with a channel or bezel setting, coupled with a solitaire engagement ring. The solitaire engagement ring may or may not have side stones. Other popular bridal ring sets include those with criss-crossing diamonds and those with the same kinds of side stones on both the engagement ring and the wedding band.

Celtic wedding bands are reflections of the Celtic heritage. They contain artwork and symbolism passed down from as long ago as the 1st Century BC. Depending on the tribe, the time period, and the favored Celtic gods, Celtic wedding bands contain various meanings. Celtic wedding bands are designed with two knots woven together, which symbolize two paths joined together to love each other until eternity.
The history of Celtic wedding bands dates back to the 1st century BC and contains one of the strongest symbols of marriage that is in existence today. Those symbols were derived from one of the most ancient cultures and traditions of the past. And because they are symbols, Celtic wedding bands have something to do with Celtic people, their history, religion and art.
Celtic are group of people who are descendants of the original seven Celtic fringe provinces of Western Europe. These people lived during the 1st century BC. Ancient Greeks called the people who lived North of the Alps as Celts. These provinces include Scotland, Ireland, Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galicia and Wales.
