Wedding is an expression of the love between two people. It symbolically binds them together in a life of bliss and sadness, of joy and sorrow and a life filled with all sorts of trials and tribulations that would challenge the couple’s desire to hold on together until the end of their physical lives.
| Marriage is also a promise of loyalty even if temptation comes the couple’s way. And that is why none other than God is asked to witness the joining together of two souls. Weddings are not meant to be run roughshod over, except when the reasons are vital and urgent. And the fewer such reasons are, the better.
That is why all sort of preparation are needed in order to make this once in a lifetime event a reality. From the details of what to wear and the colors that would be chosen for the theme to the wedding favors that would be given to all the guests and visitors. They could be elegant wedding favors or just the simple ones.

It’s traditional for the bride and groom to get presents on their wedding day, and it is expected that they give a little something back. Just like a kid’s birthday party where party favors are given out to everyone who attends, weddings guests should get a little favor bag to help remember your special day too.
Sometimes it can be hard to decide what your gift bag should be, usually because there are so many different types of people from all aspects of your life coming. You’ll have your family, your many groups of friends, possibly some coworkers, and of course your other half’s invitees. How do you find something that would appeal to everyone?
Before you get into the favors, start with the design of the bag. If you have a theme, the bag should match the theme. Otherwise a pretty white bag usually works out well. Any bag you have should have some way of tying it such as string or ribbon. Also try to find a type of bag that is durable so the favors don’t fall out. Cloth bags or totes are amazing gift bags because your guests can reuse them rather than throw them out. If you want to have separate favors for the men and women attending, have the bags be different colors such as the traditional pastel blue and pink.

The bridesmaid gifts are for the bridesmaids who have given all their support showered on you before until the very big day. They must be one of the top priorities of your list. The wedding preparation is a tremendous job and entails the involvement of close female friends. There are several ways of conveying your thanks and showing appreciation to people who in one or the other have been there for you when we call for them.
Little things always mean a lot. Always remember that it is not the price of the gift that matters, but what is most important is the thought of the giver for the recipient. The value of a gift is never a question as long as it is given from the heart. It is the act of giving and the intention of the giver that counts not the price or the number of gifts that is given more weight. As a token of that gratitude and appreciation, give them bridesmaid gifts that will fit their individual personality.

Having personalized wedding napkins on your special day is one of the most brilliant ideas considering that prices and everything is soaring high these days. This is quite unique too aside from being very practical for you can really have as many personalized wedding napkins as you want to be printed for they are so affordable. All you need this time is to look for different types of these stuffs and categorize according to the tables you are going to place them.
Since these are colored stuffs, the tables should likewise be in a color-coded arrangement for the proper distribution of the colorful personalized wedding napkins. This will serve as a distinguishing line factor as to where the guests would sit for they will get their token at the entrance of the banquet hall.
The cloth personalized wedding napkins are to be reserved for special people or on the presidential table only. In a typical wedding setting the bride and groom usually give wedding party favors to parents, bible and ring bearers, the flower girls, candle lighters, bridesmaids and groomsmen, the best man and the maid of honor. These gifts are given during the pre wedding party or rehearsal dinner. Wedding party favors should not be limited to only the bridal party as there are guests who come from far just to attend your wedding. Sending them off with an appreciation gift is a token of respect.
When deciding on which party favors to give, consider your budget, the theme of the party and your personal style. You can decide on long lasting favors or those that will be used for some purpose or alternately something like food. If you are wondering where to get these gifts, party favors can be found at local bridal gift shops but they are readily available online at competitive prices. There are many websites dedicated to helping you choose the best gifts for the party.

The tradition of offering guests at weddings gifts of appreciation for attending your occasion started long ago. It is said that the first wedding favor was known as a bonbonniere which is a tiny trinket box, made out of porcelain or crystals. The European aristocrats filled these boxes with sugar cubes or confections. During this era, sugar was expensive and only the wealthy could afford it. Therefore, if guests were given wedding favors consisting of this precious commodity, it made them happy.
As a couple you have to decide on the kind of favors to give based on how much money you have available and also based on the theme of the wedding. Some favors cost less than a dollar while others are over five dollars. You can decide to buy readymade wedding favors or you can choose to make your own favors at home. For guidance take a look at you guest list and see how many people you will be hosting on that day. If the number is not overly large, you can generally spend a little more per person than might otherwise be possible.

Many of those taking on the task of arranging a wedding shower are confused about proper bridal shower etiquette. Are bridal shower favors necessary? How elaborate or simple should they be? Not everyone agrees on the necessity of bridal shower favors. Some believe that since the guests are there to give gifts to the bride, wedding shower favors are not necessary. Others prefer to give out favors as a token of friendship and appreciation. The custom may vary from place to place, but if you’re not sure about whether wedding shower favors are needed, it may be best to choose some simple favors just to be safe.
The maid-of-honor is usually responsible for the planning of the bridal shower, which is a special party for the bride with close friends who give gifts. The standard wedding shower is for women only, although some couples take a more modern approach and prefer wedding showers for the couple and with any friends allowed to attend. The type of wedding shower preferred may determine many of the details of the shower, including the wedding shower favors. While this must be taken into consideration, most wedding showers take the traditional approach and focus on the bride. The bridal shower favors and theme will reflect this exclusively-female nature of the party.
